Sometimes things just fall into place. Our friends Chelsea and Ryan are expecting a baby in November, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. When it came time to choose a baby shower gift, I stuck to my favorite formula: include something from the registry plus something playful. Since they’re about to gain a new little alarm clock — and diapers — I went with a breakfast theme.
Kendra had recently designed some amazing egg-patterned leggings (affectionately dubbed “eggings”), and I knew I wanted to bring that sunny-side-up vibe into this That’s A Wrap gift. I also found adorable sunnyside-up bloomers and knew the set was complete: sunny wrapping paper, bloomers, and a few registry items for a cohesive, cheerful present.

The printable file is sized for 11×17 inches but can be enlarged at a local print shop for bigger packages. I printed an 18×24-inch version for this gift and it looked fantastic. Inside the box I paired the bloomers with bibs from the couple’s registry — and that was the gift: registry essentials wrapped in a fun theme. You can easily customize the package by adding coffee or tea for the parents, a breakfast-themed rattle, or another small treat that fits the motif. I finished the box with a giant pom-pom for a playful touch, using a simple pom-making technique.
