DIY Tropical Fruit Manicure
Total Time: 45 Minutes
Supplies
Nail polish in five colors: yellow, coral, light pink, hot pink, and red-orange
Black and green nail art pens
Nail charms (we purchased ours locally)
Nail glue
Clear top coat
Directions
1. Pineapple nail (yellow): Paint the nail yellow and allow it to dry completely. Draw diagonal crisscross lines with a black nail art pen to form the pineapple texture. Let dry and finish with a clear top coat.
2. Leaf-accent nail (coral): Paint the nail coral and seal with top coat. Once dry, add nail glue to the back of each leaf charm and press them onto the nail in a scattered pattern. Allow the glue to set.
3. Watermelon nail (hot pink): Paint the nail hot pink and let it dry. Use a black nail art pen to draw small teardrop or seed shapes across the nail. Finish with a top coat once dry.
4. Pineapple-leaves nail (light pink): Paint the nail light pink and let it dry. With a green nail art pen, draw leaf shapes rising from the base of the nail. Allow to dry and apply a top coat.
5. Citrus nail (red-orange): Paint the nail red-orange and seal with top coat. After it dries, glue small citrus-slice charms in a random pattern using a tiny bead of nail glue. Let the glue cure before finishing.

Tips for hosting a successful mani party:
- Ask each guest to bring two to three favorite polish shades so everyone can swap and experiment with colors.
- As host, provide nail art pens, a selection of charms, and nail glue so everyone can customize their look.
- Set out cotton balls, cotton swabs, and polish remover in pretty containers for quick cleanups and polish changes.
- Offer light, colorful snacks — think cheese boards, fruity candy, and refreshing tropical beverages to match the theme.
- Have an assortment of fun glasses and stirrers on hand to add a little flair to drinks.
- Create a lively playlist to set the mood and keep the energy upbeat during your gathering.
