Many people love Christmas music, and I do too, but for me the real magic of the season is in Christmas movies. There’s something about gathering on the couch, wrapping up in a blanket, sipping hot cocoa, and settling in for a holiday film that makes the season feel complete. Whether you celebrate a full month of festive viewing or just enjoy the occasional classic, a curated movie playlist brings families and friends together.

My personal favorite is The Holiday. I love its warm, romantic charm and the way it captures the holiday spirit. I also enjoy Christmas with the Kranks and The Santa Clause—funny and heartwarming in very different ways. (Full disclosure: until recently I thought “The Santa Clause” was a misspelling and only later learned the title plays on the legal idea of a “clause” in a contract. A little facepalm moment, but it makes the title even cleverer.) Jeff’s top pick is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation—perfect for those who appreciate outrageous comedy set against holiday chaos.
