After much thought and with a mountain of mixed emotions, we’ve decided to put our Palm Springs house on the market.
I know this will come as a surprise to many of you — it did to us too. Life shifts unexpectedly, and sometimes you have to adapt. While selling was always a possibility, it wasn’t our first choice.

I poured my heart, soul and energy into this home. Maybe too much — a tendency I recognize as part of how my brain works. I love this house and feel proud of the design choices I made, but I also sacrificed a lot mentally, physically and financially to bring the vision to life. That’s a personal conversation for another day, but it’s part of why we’ve made this decision.
Ultimately, owning a second home has become more of an undertaking than we can reasonably maintain at this stage in our lives. Between our family dynamics, school schedules, careers, my health and our priorities, holding onto the property no longer makes sense.

It’s heartbreaking to let the house go — I’ll miss details like those doors — but stepping back is the right choice for our family. I know many of you were hoping we might turn it into an Airbnb and rent it out, and I’m truly disappointed that won’t be the path we’re taking. Photographs never fully capture the warmth of the space; you needed to be there to feel it.
Sometimes the best decisions are also the hardest.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Renovating and decorating a second home after our LA place was a joyful second chance — a chance to explore new styles, shop more sustainably and enjoy more room to create. I’ve learned a lot along the way, even when it was challenging.
If you’re in the market for a Palm Springs property, the listing is available through the real estate agent handling the sale. The home will be open during Modernism Week for those in town. Serious inquiries should be directed to our agent, Eileen Lanza. There is an option to purchase the house furnished, either fully or partially, with a few exceptions; please contact Eileen for details and to arrange viewings.
For the time being, the house is also available to rent for photoshoots or small business retreats through Peerspace.

This chapter has been equal parts fun and hard, and I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for this home and for Palm Springs. It may not have been our forever house, but it taught us a lot and made room for new possibilities. Someday we’ll find the right place when the time is right.
Thank you for your understanding and for all your support. It means the world to us.
