Join me and some favorite blogging friends for a festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration — this time with a non-alcoholic twist: a rainbow cereal milkshake. I used cereal milk made from Fruity Pebbles plus vanilla ice cream to create a creamy, colorful shake that works perfectly for kids and adults alike. It’s easy to make, fun to serve, and you can top it with whipped cream and extra cereal for a playful finish.

Rainbow Cereal Milkshake
Ingredients
- 2 cups Vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles (or cereal of choice)
- Whipped cream
- Extra cereal for topping
- Frosting or marshmallow fluff Optional, for rimming the glass
Instructions
-
If you want a cereal rim, spread frosting or marshmallow fluff around the glass rim, press cereal or mini marshmallows into the frosting, and set aside.
-
Combine the milk and Fruity Pebbles in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes so the milk takes on the cereal flavor and color.
-
Strain the cereal from the milk and discard the soaked cereal (or reserve it for another use).
-
Blend the cereal-infused milk with vanilla ice cream until smooth and creamy.
-
Pour into prepared glasses and top with whipped cream and extra cereal. Serve immediately.
