I’m combining both themes from this week—donuts and geometric decor—with a recap of Chelsea and my DIY geometric garland workshop at West Elm Los Angeles a few weeks ago. The event was a delightful mix of crafting, chatting, and sampling treats—mini cronuts were served and they were a hit. Working with the West Elm team, especially their talented visual stylist CJ, made everything look picture-perfect and easy to display.

We loved seeing friends—Sarah, Danni and Lilian—and meeting so many readers who came out to craft with us.

The gift bags were a highlight—filled to the brim with geometric-inspired goodies. Everyone loved the thoughtful items contributed by friends and makers; the response was overwhelmingly positive.
Goodies included handcrafted tote-and-stationery items, sweet ice cream spoons, geometric leather pins, custom confetti, beads, paper honeycombs, and custom mini notebooks, all assembled into cheerful craft bags for attendees.

(Confetti!!!)

To close out the event we gathered for a group photo. Many thanks to CJ and Nikki at West Elm for hosting, to Mary for photography, and to everyone who joined us and crafted along.
