I’ve wanted to create an egg hunt banner for ages, and Kate from Striped Cat Studio delivered something beyond my expectations. If you’re hosting or attending an Easter egg hunt this weekend, this free printable banner will make it extra special. The banner measures 4 feet by 1.5 feet. I had mine printed at Staples on their 4 ft x 2.5 ft banner material (a thick poly-paper) and asked them to trim it to size. The print cost was about $25. You can either email the print shop the Dropbox link or bring the file on a flash drive. Most stores say printing takes about an hour, though mine was ready sooner.
To hang the banner, punch holes near the corners (but not too close to the edge) and tie it with twine to a tree, stake, fence, or other anchor. If you can hang it high enough, it makes a great starting line for the egg hunt. Alternatively, use non-permanent tape or adhesive to attach it to a wall or garage without damage.
