Happy Valentine’s Day! When February 14th finally arrives, I always feel a little bittersweet. Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday to craft for, and each year I get impatient waiting for it. This year felt like a great one: fun balloon projects, piñata love grams, conversation-heart treats and, of course, donuts. I hope you’re enjoying this sweet, heart-filled day. Even if Valentine’s Day isn’t your favorite, how can you resist a celebration full of chocolate, hearts and candy?

An outtake from one of my favorite posts this year—I look like a fool, a fool in love!
Quick note: I’ll be taking Monday off since it’s a holiday, though not as sparkly as today. In the meantime, here are some heart-centric links and inspirations. See you Tuesday!

{Create} DIY Projects & Recipes
I’m a total sucker for watercolor—printable watercolor valentines are still doable if you hurry. I also love the idea of Fruit Loop cupcake toppers; they’re playful, colorful and fun for any party. Tic-tac-toe cookies are an adorable edible game, and a simple Valentine cake can brighten anyone’s day. Conversation heart-inspired treats keep popping up because they’re just such a classic, charming theme.
